Also, they asked me if we were living together and as long as me and you aren't living together that seems to be a good thing regarding the mental health stuff and them worrying about the wellbeing of the children. 
Our rule that I leave once voices get raised or we are unable to stop recycling is good, and we are showing healthy boundaries and mature thought about the negative parts of our relationship and not fighting in front of the kids. 
All will be well. 
If it ever comes down to it I'll talk them round 😉. You have nothing to fear ❤️
